Ho Chi Min City, great parties, amazing pools, loved the crazy traffic, didn’t love 6 hours power outage because of heavy rainfall and flooding, but overall another great experience

Pemerintah Provinsi Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) mendorong sekolah-sekolah untuk ikut menyediakan bahan baku program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) dengan memanfaatkan lahan yang tersedia di lingkungan sekolah. Usulan ini disampaikan Asisten Bidang Pemerintahan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat Pemprov Kaltara, Sanusi, dalam peresmian 12 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) untuk wilayah tertinggal, terdepan, dan terluar (3T) serta daerah dengan prevalensi stunting tinggi di Sebatik Tengah, Kabupaten Nunukan, Rabu (14/10/2026). Dilansir NiagaAsia, Sanusi menilai meningkatnya kebutuhan bahan pangan untuk dapur MBG dapat menjadi peluang bagi sekolah untuk mengembangkan kegiatan bercocok tanam maupun beternak. Selain membantu memenuhi kebutuhan pangan, kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat mengajarkan keterampilan dan kemandirian kepada para siswa sejak dini.

Pemprov Kaltara juga mengajak masyarakat sekitar sekolah untuk memanfaatkan peluang ekonomi dari keberadaan dapur MBG, sehingga manfaat program tidak hanya dirasakan melalui pemberian makanan bergizi, tetapi juga melalui aktivitas usaha lokal. Sanusi menegaskan bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur harus berjalan seimbang dengan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Sementara itu, Koordinator Regional Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) Kaltara, Aji Sanjaya, menyebut terdapat 57 SPPG yang tersebar di 20 kecamatan pada lima kabupaten/kota, dengan total 139.536 penerima manfaat yang mencakup pelajar PAUD hingga SMA serta ibu hamil dan menyusui. Kehadiran 12 SPPG baru diharapkan semakin memperluas jangkauan pemenuhan gizi, khususnya bagi masyarakat di wilayah terpencil.

The most joyous 12 weeks of my life in an instant turned into the most devestating 24 hours of my life.

Right before leaving for a month to travel the world and celebrate love, Cecil and I found out we were expecting our first child! Our journey to parenthood has not been easy, so finding out we were finally pregnant felt so surreal

We spent the following weeks imagining our future, writing their names, buying their first souvenir toys, and falling more in love with someone we hadn’t even met yet. We got to see and hear our baby’s strong heartbeat and little movements and couldn’t wait for the life ahead.

At our 12 week appointment, the “safe” point when we thought we’d be one step closer to meeting our baby , we received the heartbreaking news that the pregnancy was no longer viable and within hours my miscarriage began , my water broke and I painfully and naturally delivered our baby at home

Nothing at all can prepare you for this kind of heartbreak. I feel forever changed and honestly superhuman from the physical experience but more importantly, I deeply miss the bond I’d already formed with our child.

As devastated as we both are, we’re so grateful we got to experience this kind of love, even if only for a little while. We hope they enjoyed the ride with us but are having the best time up above 🤍
