LJ Realties Responds to Vandalism and Property Damage at Its Offices MONTRÉAL, QC | October 30, 2026 — LJ Realties is responding to a serious incident that occurred at its offices on Friday afternoon, when a large group of individuals entered the premises and caused extensive property damage. According to preliminary information, approximately 50 individuals were involved in the incident, during which windows and glass fixtures were broken and the office on Charlevoix sustained significant damage. The group, who referred to themselves as le Tribunal d’Abolition des Loyers (TAL), scattered notes and flyers throughout the office with their manifesto: “Notice D’éviction: Noue sommes dans l’obligation de bous announcer devoir procéder à votre eviction prennant effet… immédiatement. Police have been contacted, and security camera footage documenting the incident has been preserved. « We are deeply disturbed by what took place at our offices this afternoon, » said LJ Aguinaga of LJ Realties. « Our immediate priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, who were intimidated by a group of individuals that stormed our offices. We are cooperating with police and will provide any information necessary to assist their investigation. » LJ Realties strongly condemns acts of violence, intimidation, and destruction of property. The company remains committed to the safety of its employees, clients, and the broader community. Further information will be shared as details are confirmed.
We just wanted to talk about something that matters to us. 🖤🏳️‍🌈 Since our last viral post, we’ve received so many messages from lesbians sharing their experiences of being sexualised, fetishised and having their relationships reduced to questions about their sex lives, this may not be a topic everyone wants to talk about, but it’s our everyday reality. One message in particular stayed with us: A girl in our DM’s who will remain anonymous, told us that she came out at nine years old, and that even then, adults treated her as though her sexuality made her inappropriate. Now, years later, she’s at university and says that when she mentions her girlfriend, people almost immediately ask about their sex life. She deserves better than that. We all do. Being a lesbian isn’t an invitation for people to question our intimacy, imagine our sex lives or treat our relationships as entertainment. We can be affectionate in public. We can post photos together. We can be proud of our love. None of those things means our relationship is public property. And at the end of the day, love is love, meaning we fell in love with eachother because of who they are, it’s not about sex. Lesbian relationships deserve the same privacy, dignity, seriousness and respect as any other relationship. We’re two best friends who fell in love. And if sharing our experiences helps even one person understand why this matters, then we want to keep having these conversations. To the lesbians who have experienced this, we’re sorry you’ve had to deal with it. To all the queer women in our DM’s we see you and we will keep showing up for all of you. You deserve to be seen as a whole person, not somebody else’s fantasy. And to everyone reading this: sometimes supporting the LGBTQ+ community starts with something simple. Treat our relationships with the same respect you’d want for your own. And if you can’t understand it, consider yourself lucky in that sense, but please don’t belittle anyone’s experience! And our love is not an invitation. 🖤 With love, Annie & Gracey 🩷 #wlw #halloweencouple #samesexmarriage #lesbianvisibilityday #lesbiancouple
