I don’t think I’ll ever get used to walking through that black door at Number 10. 🥹 A few years ago, I was fighting to get justice for something that should never have happened to me. Now I’m sitting down with people in government discussing how we can change the law to protect others. It honestly feels surreal even writing that. Last week, my team and I met with representatives from DCMS and Andy Burnham’s team to get into the real details of Georgia’s Law. Not just why we need it, but HOW we actually make it happen. The hurdles we might face. The changes we need to make. The quickest way to get this legislation across the line. And somewhere in the middle of all those conversations, I had one of those moments where I thought… Oh my God. This is actually happening. 🥹 There’s still work to do, and nothing is guaranteed, but we’re getting closer to something that could make a real difference to so many lives. A huge thank you to my amazing team of specialist lawyers at Payne Hicks Beach, and to Nick Hargrave and the brilliant team at Strand Partners, who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to help turn Georgia’s Law into a reality. I couldn’t do this without their expertise, dedication and belief in what we’re trying to achieve. ❤️ I never imagined my worst experience could lead me here. And I won’t stop pushing until we get this right. ❤️ Photos by the amazing @brett_d_cove @nickhargrave1987 👈 the man , the myth , the legend #GeorgiasLaw #OnlineSafety #DowningStreet
During a big TV celebration show, a girl in a wheelchair rolled straight into the center of the shot and started posing like the spotlight had been built just for her. She owned the frame so well you’d have thought she was the headline celebrity of the night, and for those few seconds the confidence was unmatched. Then the real stars turned out to be standing right behind her, and she got moved off to the side so the show could get its actual main focus on camera. That sudden switch from center stage to sidelined is what makes the clip so funny, because for a moment she really did look like she was the moment.
Chicken Summer Rolls 💪
These are 150 calories each, and so good. I love Vietnamese food and all the fresh flavors and love making these summer rolls. They’re such a great light healthy meal super fresh, crunchy, and ridiculously satisfying. Just 90 calories each (without sauce) but even better with the sauce. Make the one below or use any sauce you like! And of course, if you are prioritizing protein, you can swap out the shrimp for things like cooked chicken, tofu, or even steak would work great. ✅Comment FLAVOR and I’ll message you how you can preorder my new cookbook with 100 recipes that have helped me lose over 150lbs. Here is how I made them: 🛒 Ingredients (Makes 8) -3/4lb chicken thighs seasoned per instructions below) -8 Rice paper sheets (35 cals each, grab them at Asian grocery or online) -A large handful of arugula or thinly sliced gem lettuce -1 Large red bell pepper, thinly sliced -2 Persian cucumbers, thinly sliced -1/2 large red onion, thinly sliced -1 large avocado, thinly sliced -Large handful of fresh cilantro To make the Chicken: 1.Season 3/4lb chicken thighs with 1/2 tsp avocado oil, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1/2 tbsp dried parsley or cilantro, 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix well, then pop into the oven at 400F for 32 mins, or airfry at 400F for 22 mins. How to Roll 1.Dip rice paper in warm water (just quick dunk!). 2.Add arugula, then your veggies and herbs, leaving space on the edges 3.Fold bottom of rice paper up, pull tight and tuck it in. 4.Add 2-3 ounces of chicken, 2-3 thin avocado slices, and fresh cilantro leaves. 5.Fold in the sides, then roll tight, mini burrito-style. 6.Repeat until you are satisfied. This makes 8 rolls depending on how much you fill them up. Optional Spicy Sriracha Sauce 3 tbsp mayo 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp soy sauce 2.5 tbsp sriracha sauce 1 heaping tsp honey Salt & pepper And if you make them, let me know on SHREDHAPPENS. ENJOY! . . . #lowcarb #lowcarbrecipes #healthyrecipes #healthyfoodshare
