How I built my DJ booth with a hidden TV lift 🧱🙌
A lot of people asked about this setup, so here’s a quick summary !!
I built everything with cellular concrete blocks, MDF, and acacia wood for the finish. The whole project cost about 400€ and took me roughly a week working 2–3 hours a day.
Extra tips not shown in the video 👇
• Plan everything before you start. Exact measurements make a huge difference.
• Put felt underneath the blocks touching the floor. Protects the parquet and lets you slide the booth if needed.
• Go easy with wood glue. It dries white, not transparent.
• Match the wood grain for panels placed side by side. It makes the joins almost invisible.
• Use a primer made for aerated concrete before painting.
• Don’t worry about the mortar + sanding step. It’s easier than it looks and smooths out naturally.
