Make everyone you meet feel special. This year, make sure to say how much you love your closest & how happy you are to see everyone. @bauzilla made EVERY PERSON he met feel special. Hans Zandbergen has terminal lung cancer, and his last wish was one more trip to the casino with his two daughters. He and his late wife used to go together before she died 21 years ago, and he wanted to relive those memories with his family one last time. Dutch charity Stichting Ambulance Wens made it happen. They brought him to the casino on a stretcher, and the staff reserved his favourite machines for him. He spent two hours playing with his daughters, and afterward they all went out for fish together.

🗳️ INTRODUCING TEEN VOTE 🗳️ “I have a responsibility to vote…. I want my ideas heard because I think that we have an obligation to help with our future,” Kingston Rumi Southwick (@kingstonrumisouthwick) tells Teen Vogue. The 18-year-old Widow’s Bay actor is one of dozens of first-time voters who spoke with us in the weekdays before the 2026 midterm elections. Whether sitting in front of a wall of collages, movie posters, and Taylor Swift merch in California, at their parents’ dining room table in Ohio, sprawled on a dorm-room floor in Texas, on the grass in a Mississippi park, inside a car in college campus parking lot, young people tell us that they are ready to be heard—and they want to encourage their peers to follow suit. Ahead of the midterms, we spoke to 52 first-time voters, mostly ages 18 to 19, about what’s driving them to the polls, and why they think it’s so important to vote. Read the special Teen Vote cover at the link in our bio. The production of this story was supported by The Brennan Center for Justice.
