Brunel University Boxing Club

After a long drive down, brunel boxing had 3 boxers compete on the Exeter show against some of Exeter’s best.

First up was @rsa_556 who gave a good account to himself coming up against a taller, longer Exeter boxer, ultimately losing by unanimous decision, Ruban will be back 🥊

After Ruban we had @yg.064 making her debut in the new black and white colours, also giving a good account of herself landing some good shots, but the ref jumped in and stopped the bout in the second after a standing count was given. Emily had the toughest bout of the night and will be back for sure 🥊

Last up, we had @_.azizldn also making his debut for us, hamed controlled the tempo of the fight using his elusive head movement and feet to then allow him to land the shots needed to ultimately stop his opponent in the second round 💫

Lessons learnt all round for team Brunel in Exeter.

We would like to thank @uoeboxing for inviting us down and for John, there club captain for the matching. 🙏

Also a shout out to the coaches at Brunel for making everything tick @csnabeel @cameranboxingacademy @mk_g01

We will be back in March 🤝
