And that’s a wrap for BUCs 25/26 and what an eventful one it was, full of lessons learnt. Brunel comes away with 2 bronze medals with both @muno1_ and @kingtahmid_ bowing out in the semi finals to the eventual winners of their brackets. 🥉

@muno1_ had a full bracket and boxed on the first day against a good kid from Cardiff university, Mali, listening to the game plan, boxed very well eventually stopping his opponent in the 3rd round and giving the crowd a great bout to watch. On the second day, he eventually lost in a close back and forth bout from a good lad who won it all. Mali has been the most active fighter at Brunel and will come back stronger and hungrier 🙏

@kingtahmid_ had a bye on the first day and boxed in a semi final against a game opponent who was a lot more experienced that him, nonetheless, he boxed to the game plan and won the first round but got a nasty cut which stopped the bout in the 3rd round, our club captain should be proud of his performance and will be back soon 👏

Lessons learnt for our boxers this weekend but we’ll be back out soon. Thank you to @csnabeel @mk_g01 for all the work they put into the boxers and the late hours you give 😂

Both boxers are proud to represent @officialteambrunel @cameranboxingacademy we will be back out soon 🔥

Thank you @bucssport @uopboxing for hosting another great bucs, see you next year 💪 by @brunelboxing

BUCS 2026 squad by @brunelboxing

Yesterday we had @muno1_ box on the kcl show against a game homeboy opponent.

Mali has been putting the work in throughout the year and it shows, using his relentless work rate to get a unanimous win 🥊

We would like to thank @kclboxingclub @fitzroylodge_1908_london for having us down and hosting another great show and for @csnabeel @mk_g01 @cameranboxingacademy for the hours they put in 🙏

Mali will bring the momentum of this bout into the next several days, competing along with club cpatan @kingtahmid_ in the BUCs tournament @officialteambrunel 🔥 by @brunelboxing

Well done to @muno1_ for winning his first bout today on the Finchley show, Mali’s quick combinations and head movement one him a split decision win against a game imperial university boy @iclboxing 🤝

Mali has been putting in the hard hours and the effort shows and we’ll look to get him out at much as possible 🙌

Well done Mali 🥊 big shout out to the coaches @csnabeel @mk_g01 @cameranboxingacademy for making everything click and putting the hours in to make this all happen 💫 by @brunelboxing

After a long drive down, brunel boxing had 3 boxers compete on the Exeter show against some of Exeter’s best.

First up was @rsa_556 who gave a good account to himself coming up against a taller, longer Exeter boxer, ultimately losing by unanimous decision, Ruban will be back 🥊

After Ruban we had @yg.064 making her debut in the new black and white colours, also giving a good account of herself landing some good shots, but the ref jumped in and stopped the bout in the second after a standing count was given. Emily had the toughest bout of the night and will be back for sure 🥊

Last up, we had @_.azizldn also making his debut for us, hamed controlled the tempo of the fight using his elusive head movement and feet to then allow him to land the shots needed to ultimately stop his opponent in the second round 💫

Lessons learnt all round for team Brunel in Exeter.

We would like to thank @uoeboxing for inviting us down and for John, there club captain for the matching. 🙏

Also a shout out to the coaches at Brunel for making everything tick @csnabeel @cameranboxingacademy @mk_g01
