PRECIOUSNESS OF PLAY
The Baby (2015), Brass, Tramazite & Liquid Metal
As we age, we tend to forget the importance of play. Play, on the one hand, is viewed as childlike and amateur. But, on the other, it is an opportunity for great discovery and collaboration amongst fellow human beings and the Earth. Based Upon prides itself on finding and working within that sweet-spot of childlike activity which births great discovery and collaboration between fellow human beings and the Earth. As a result of working within that sweet-spot, The Baby was born. The Baby piano continues to bring us together, creates an atmosphere of serenity which causes us to remember to play, play on.
