Project Swamp Continues to Make a Difference in Hillsborough River and Beyond. Our mission is to maintain a trash-free environment, not just for today, but for future generations. Recently, we had the pleasure of having our regular volunteers bring their kids to help with the cleanup. This was not only an amazing moment but also a valuable teaching experience, instilling strong values and promoting care for the natural world. Realistically, it doesn't take much to make a change - just dedicated individuals with the willpower to create a better future. On November 22, 2025, our team cleaned up a 2-mile stretch from Lowery to Rowlet, meeting at Mannwagnon Park @historyandnaturehrspcso. We were thrilled to see noticeable improvements, especially in previously problematic areas. We even took the opportunity to knock on doors in the neighborhood, explaining our efforts. However, there's still work to be done, particularly with abandoned homeless camps, including the one under the Rowlet Park train tracks. Despite being told it's @officialcsx's responsibility, we believe it's a community issue that affects us all. As tax-paying citizens, we demand better for our community. #Projectswamp #hillsboroughriver #tampa #florida #hillsborough #cleanupyourtrash #followthemoney #conservation #rowlett #rowlettpark
