The Castro has been a home for people to be who they are for generations. Grateful to the LGBTQ+ leaders who welcomed me in San Francisco, and for the support of Mayor Lurie, Supervisor Mandelman, and Senator Cervantes. Let’s finish this together.
Nature really said no lip filler needed! 👀🐒💗 Meet the Yunnan snub-nosed monkey, one of China's most distinctive and endangered primates. Recognisable by its striking pink lips, tiny upturned nose and thick golden-black fur, this rare species lives in the high-altitude forests of Yunnan Province, including the mountainous areas around Shangri-La. They spend much of their lives in the treetops, travelling through mountain forests in large social groups. With their unusual features and limited habitat, these monkeys are truly one of nature’s most fascinating sights! 🎥: @seeksophie

Well, that’s true.
Let’s talk BLOATING (and before we do, if you want the full video where I chat this too, just COMMENT SHA and I’ll DM the link — otherwise keep reading x). Some bloating is absolutely normal (especially around periods and hormones!). And there’s nothing shameful about our bodies, at any stage, at any time. But. Buuuut. Lately my tummy has been SO SORE. And swollen. And sour. For the most part, I just accepted it. I’ve always struggled with bloating. Maybe it’s just, I thought, part of me? Not to mention the insane amount of info, and pseudoscience, and noise. It all felt… overwhelming. Then I went to @shawellness_spain (hence the whole ‘comment SHA’ thing - again you can watch the longer video there), where I massively adjusted HOW I eat, from stress to the foods involved, and… My tummy felt amazing. Inside. INSIDE it felt amazing. Outside, the bloating disappeared. Even in the evenings, after a day of solid eating, it wasn’t SWOLLEN. I genuinely was surprised. I still am, honestly. But. I’m back to ‘real life’ now. And my bloating is back too. Alongside the sometimes sour tummy. Only now I’m wondering if maybe things could be different. I’m ready to embark on a journey to figure this out. And maybe, if you feel like it, you will join me too. So that we heal our guts (and cut through the pseudoscience noise), one lil question at a time. x
