Pyramids of Giza ๐Ÿœ๏ธ

The scene hits differently in person โ€” massive stone giants standing in total silence, proving the ancient Egyptians built beyond logic and left the world speechless.

A Ghost at our Cottageโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘ป Well, it is Halloween after allโ€ฆ so I thought it might be the perfect opportunity to share a few of our rather curious experiences with the unexplained. We live in a farmhouse dating back to 1719 and Iโ€™ve always felt a presence here, nothing sinister, thankfully. The old curator at the Castle confirmed that ours isnโ€™t the only farm steading on the Raby estate where the television has been known to switch itself on at 3am, at full volume, for absolutely no apparent reason! Iโ€™ve had two rather curious experiences while working as a room guide at the castle, both in my favourite room. On the first occasion, I felt a very firm tug on the back of my blazer. I actually gasped, thinking Iโ€™d caught it on an ornament or the door handle, but I was nowhere near either. It felt rather mischievous and playful and, strangely enough, I wasnโ€™t frightened at all. On another occasion, in that very same room, I caught sight of what looked like a ghostly reflection in a bookcase. But perhaps my strangest experience happened many years ago, shortly after my mum passed away. While visiting a customer, I saw a gentleman standing beside her table, quite clearly, folding newspapers. I described exactly what Iโ€™d seen to the lady, who immediately recognised him as her late husband. She told me that he used to fold his newspapers in precisely that spot. Iโ€™d never met him. Now, I donโ€™t pretend to have all the answers, but Iโ€™ve certainly experienced a few things over the years that I simply canโ€™t explain. Our little ghostly visitor today was just for a bit of Halloween fun, but Daisy certainly took to her role beautifully, and I think youโ€™ll agree she rather stole the show ๐Ÿ‘ป Are you a believer? Have you ever experienced something you simply couldnโ€™t explain? Do share them in the comments, Iโ€™d be fascinated to read your stories too.
