My great grandparents came over from Poland and didn't speak English. They grew up very poor in Syracuse NY. They had several children. My grandmother Julia used to tell us stories about it. The Salvation Army would help the poor out during the holidays. For Thanksgiving they gave needy families one chicken. That chicken fed a whole family. Therefore, my Grandma always lovingly called Thanksgiving "Chicken Day". In that spirit I wish you all a Happy Chicken Day. I am safe, warm, and grateful today. RIP Grandma Julia. You're always in my heart.

I am learning to practice gratitude. Especially for the small things we take for granted daily. Blessings to you and yours, Leo.
