As you know i liked the first book of this series but this one ? Was definitely so much better. You really did see the process the author did made with her writing 🥰

I will not go deep into the topics because they would spill it out for you and you definitely need to read the first book first but what I can say is the story was just peak .

The story between Pike and Emma ( who’s saints long lost sister ) was kinda special. They were attached to each other through her captivity and this grow into something so much deeper.

Emma is a real survivor and such strong character. Everything is new to her because she was most of life being held captive but still turned out to be a real badass who never ever won’t allow to someone uses her.

When he calls her little phoenix ? I‘m SAT 🫠

And the playful tension and teasing between them two was so hilarious omg !❤️‍🔥 I really ate it up and what going on with all the news , turns und fucked up connections burnt my brain . But it’s so worth it !!!
