Rosie came to us thanks to the random Cat Distribution System September 6th - 4 weeks before I would lose Thor. I didn’t really want her. I felt guilty splitting my time between her and Thor, when he was at his sickest. But I also felt an intense need to care for her, since she was motherless.
It’s been 3 months since she came to us. I still have mixed emotions around her - I planned on having a cat less space after Thor was gone - but all the space belongs to this kitten now. Some days she drives me crazy and I kind of wish I could send her to live with someone else. And other days when she finally tires herself out and lies quietly next to me, it fills the void that Thor’s absence has left. #stuckwithhernow #rosiebiscuitswildpants

I read a story once that sometimes when your cat passes or is passing, they send out the signal to the universe to send another cat so that it’s human doesn’t stay alone. Maybe Thor did that for you. It’s okay to grieve for Thor and find love for Rosie, it might be what he wanted. ❤️
