My first oil self portrait! One thing that I still struggle with oil painting is finding the right likeness. I think I have definitely gotten better at it so I wanted to try practicing that skill by painting my first oil self portrait. Also this painting was so hard to film, I couldn’t find a shot where I wouldn’t get any glare, so I feel like the final results do not do the painting justice, especially the colours. Definitely a lot of room for improvement, but it will be so cool to compare with another self portrait in the future! #selfportrait #oilselfportrait #oilpainting #artcollector #artreveal

My whole heart ❤️❤️ I never got to say this, but life has been so beautiful, Alhamdulillah. 🤍 After losing my almost 5-month pregnancy in November 2025, Allah reminded me that His plans are always better than ours. From having no plans of having a baby anytime soon, to losing a pregnancy, and then finding out I was pregnant again in January… which of the favors of my Lord will I deny? 🥺 I remember going to every single scan with so much anxiety, praying to hear a heartbeat because my last baby didn’t have one. Every scan came with that little fear in my heart — “Please let there be a heartbeat.” And every time I heard it, it felt like a miracle all over again. 🥺🤍 I could also remember panicking to my friend about having another baby and asking myself if I could really handle being a mom of 3. I had so many questions and honestly didn’t know how I was going to do it. But look at us now… 🥺💙 Slowly but surely, we are finding our rhythm. It hasn’t been easy adjusting to life with a newborn, postpartum recovery and two other children who still need me, but Alhamdulillah, we are making it through one day at a time. Sometimes I wish I had more reactions captured — finding out I was pregnant again, finding out the gender and all those little moments. I wish I had documented more of how I felt. But maybe some blessings are meant to be lived more than they are recorded. Alhamdulillah for this unending blessing. 🤍 Indeed, when Allah takes something from you, He can give you something you never imagined you needed. Have tawakkul. Trust His timing, even when you don’t understand His plan. To every TTC mom reading this, and to every woman who has lost a baby or a pregnancy, I pray Allah blesses you with the blessing your heart longs for, at the perfect time. 🤲🏽 And if you have lost a baby, know that Allah sees your pain. He knows the tears, the fear, the prayers and the longing in your heart. May Allah make us grateful for every blessing, patient through every test, and trusting in Him through every chapter. Alhamdulillah, always. 🤍
