There are moments when you step out of the shadows not because you’re ready, but because your story asks you to move forward.

After years behind the scenes, I found myself in Cairo with people I met by coincidence, different nationalities, beginners like me, united by our love for music and The Sound of Music.

We trained for months, laughed, hesitated, tried again, until this coincidence became a small community. A choir formed from curiosity and courage.

For the first time, I’ll be on stage. Not because my voice is good (it’s not 😅) but because life is too short to avoid what scares us, and too precious to miss moments that shift the heart.

As we celebrate the movie’s anniversary, the moment feels even more special.

Join us this Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM in @bayt.alsinnari , an 18th-century cultural house in El-Sayeda Zainab, in front of Sobia Al-Rahmani.

Entrance is free and open to all.

اتدربنا شهور، ضحكنا وترددنا وحاولنا تاني، لحد ما بقينا كورال صغير.

ولأول مرة هطلع على المسرح. مش علشان صوتي حلو، لأ خالص 😅
لكن لأن الحياة قصيرة، اقصر من اننا نعيش في رهاب او خوف من التجارب.

وبمناسبة ذكرى الفيلم… اللحظة بقت أغنى.
