ماشي هروب…
هي لقاء مع راسك.
فزمن فيه الضجيج، السكرول، والضغط النفسي،
العقل ديالنا ما بقا عندو حتى لحظة يهضر فيها.
كنهضرو على الصحة النفسية، القلق، التفكير الزائد،
ولكن ما كنهدروش على أبسط علاج: الصمت المقصود.
الجلوس بوحدك شوية
كيعاونك ترتّب أفكارك،
تفهم مشاعرك،
وترجع لراسـك بلا أقنعة.
ماشي كل وحدة اكتئاب،
وماشي كل عزلة خطر.
بالعكس، أحياناً العزلة الواعية
هي أول خطوة للتوازن النفسي.
فيها خير.

My friend Issam spoke my mind: the ability to be alone is the ultimate sign of maturity. As Nietzsche warns in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, we must often "flee into our solitude" to escape being "deafened with the noise of the great men and stung by the little ones". While the world celebrates "actors" and the shallow buzz of the "market-place," true greatness lies in the "creating agency" that only thrives in silence. I am choosing to "resemble again the tree" rooted, silent, and attentive, recognizing that we don't retreat to leave the world, but to find the truth that the crowd’s applause can never provide. Where the noise ends, your reality begins.
