@susainekiella__ . Hiking wasn't my thing as I have acrophobia (fear of heights). I have doubt to say yes but this is once in a lifetime experience. If you can't face your fears, who will ? 🤷🏼♂️
Hikers said that if it is your first time to climb up a mountain, that is your Mother Mountain, Mt. Espadang Bato is my Mother Mountain. When we are the summit, I can't believe that I am seeing a real mountain up close. While I am staring at it, I feel proud, never thought that this patpatin kid will have a courage and strength to climb up a mountain.
Just an hour of hiking from Mt. Espadang Bato, will get the chance to see the Mt. Bulaklak. I didn't know why this mountain is rated as 3/9 of difficulty only!! One small mistake, you'll end up......Knees are shaking and stomach is fluttering, as I try not to look down, but cannot help to peek down 👀. Every steps and every grip in the stones, there's a corresponding thought in my head "kaya mo 'to, ginusto mo 'to, gagawin mo 'to".
Going to Mt. Sipit Ulang was not planned at all. By peer pressure and a little bit of words of encouragement by Gemi and other hikers, we will be doing a Trilogy. To be honest, even though you're walking, for me, hiking is still exhausting than running a 30 kilometers 🙂↔️. After almost 2 hours, I got to see the third mountain. The tiredness I felt going there was all worth it!
Still in disbelief that I conquered a mascap trilogy. A memorable moment to end my year! More mountains next year!!
