Sierra Vergette

2025 began for me with traveling for international veterinary school interviews and the incredible honour of being accepted to RVC in England, UCD in Ireland, and the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. In June, I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences, and by September I began veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College. Getting into this school has been a dream for my entire life and this year it became a reality. Receiving my blue coat and being officially welcomed into the profession was one of the happiest moments of my life.
This year I also spent countless hours training @ads_reece, and while sending him to another trainer near the end of the year was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, it was the right one, and seeing how close he is to advanced service dog training makes me so incredibly proud to have raised him. I also said yes to many adventures this year: winter camping, beautiful hikes, a canoe portage trip, and many karate competitions (at which I won gold!). I also started a new job working with exotic animals, and welcomed two baby rats into my family.
2025 was truly the best year yet!
