VICI’s quarterly net income dropped 55.1%. Their revenue actually rose, and the profit decline was driven by an accounting adjustment for potential credit losses. But here’s my take on their business model:

When landlords squeeze casino operators for bigger returns, where do you think that pressure ends up? On YOU. Higher prices, more fees, fewer deals, and a Vegas experience that keeps giving you less while charging you more.

In my opinion, this landlord and tenant model has helped squeeze the shit out of consumers. And if that’s what their success depends on, then yes I hope that model fails.

Their biggest asset is the real estate. Hypothetically, if Caesars bought back the properties it leases from VICI, that would take a major chunk out of VICI’s portfolio. I’m not saying that’s happening I’m saying the land is the foundation of their business.

Vegas needs owners invested in making people WANT to come back. You can only squeeze people so much before they stop coming.

Make Vegas Vegas Again.

@zoe.gracesmith came in with the most incredible length and full, voluminous curls that carried so much presence on their own. We went for something that would open up her face without letting go of that length she loves… soft and ethereal but still larger than life Stevie Nicks energy. Carving away at the weight and letting the curls fall exactly where they want to live.

I insist my curly hair clients to use New Wash and never shampoo. Also HUGE news, if you are sensitive like me, they have an unscented version and it’s linked in my bio. They have always used essential oils and never any synthetic fragrances, but they listened when we all asked for unscented.

The beauty of New Wash is that it’s a cream cleanser so it doesn’t strip your curls. All your natural oils are left behind in the best way. It’s not heavy or greasy, it keeps them defined and juicy. My curly clients love it because it makes their hair routine so so simple and low maintenance. No more adding a bunch of products after you get out of the shower.

I hope you get to experience the magic of New Wash too!! ❤️

I need everyone to stop asking if I’m okay and start asking why we couldn’t score a touchdown. Buckeye Nation, let’s hear your grievances.
