“The Dream Team”. Founded by Jesus “Bubu” Hernandez, they were a crew comprised of fellas from Brooklyn & Queens who moved between the streets and nightlife in the early 2000s. They hustled everything from weed to coke and also took part in stick-ups & robberies. They eventually tried shifting to less hazardous activities and began promoting parties around Brooklyn & Queens. One weekend the squad could be found rolling deep at Nubar in Queens and the next could be seen at Rhumba in The Bronx. But as they straddled the line between nightlife and the streets, they developed beefs with a number of crews. After a rival from one group was struck by gunfire, retaliation came outside of Club Phenomenon in Woodside. There two Dream Team members were shot; one survived, but the other, a founding member named JR, was killed. From that point it was war on sight with violence erupting whenever the crews crossed paths. JR’s killer was eventually arrested and sentenced to 30 years, but his death marked the beginning of the end for the Dream Team. The crew gradually drifted apart, and after founder Bubu died in a motorcycle accident in 2012, the group officially dissolved. One of the original members of The Dream Team "Rah" owns a clothing brand @trustnoone_clothing. #newyorkstreets #ridgewood #bushwick

A bear made an unexpected visit to a library in Mammoth Lakes on Wednesday morning, wandering through the building before it opened to the public 🐻 "We can only assume the new Li-BEAR-ian was looking for a copy of Winnie The Pooh," the agency wrote, noting that the beloved book was first published exactly 100 years earlier, on Oct. 14, 1926.
