🪄 Adventured to Disneyland twice, opening and closing out the year!
🐝 Managed half a dozen hives over the summer, and caught two swarms.
🍯 Collected roughly 13 gallons of raw honey.
💻 Was stalked by a stranger on the internet, and retaliated by republishing the over 105 archived blogs they hated me for.
✍️ Took back my voice by writing and publishing over 90 subsequent essays. Don’t ever let anyone else paint your story for you.
🎙️ Co-produced 34 @starwarsmean2u podcast episodes with @superdaveawesum and interviewed 17 special guests!
✈️ Was surprised and whisked away to New York City by my two best friends to see David Hyde Pierce’s Broadway return!
😳 Met my childhood idol (David Hyde Pierce) and fell mute for the first time in my life.
🌊 Spent a LOT of time outside and on the water.
🚘 Helped move our family across the country, and closer to us.
🎉 Celebrated Paulo accepting a new Associate Doctor position. Watching his career take off has been the highlight of my year.
💃 Mine and Emma’s fandom was forever immortalized in the new Taylor Swift documentary series.
💜 Shared hundreds of laughs with friends and family.

👀…and finally. I accepted a new job myself! I will be kicking off 2026 with a new role and a new team with the shared mission of protecting wild lands in Washington State. I am truly so lucky to be returning to my nonprofit roots.🌲 🐻 💚
