POSTS STORIES REELS

Tune in March 5th for SEASON TWO!! I’m coming on as the new co-host to What Does Star Wars Mean To You!? We chat with industry experts and other creative fans of the franchise about that galaxy far far away that we all love so much. Listen wherever you get your podcasts! @starwarsmean2u by @cosmicantlers

The outpouring of love and support from my friends and family over the last few weeks, as I prepared this essay, has been overwhelming. I do not take this love for granted, and I am so grateful for all of you. 🩵

This blog space is how I first claimed my voice, 15 years ago on the shores of Taiji, Japan. After a recent stalking incident and attack on my reputation, I have to reclaim it.

8:00am today is September 1st in Japan. The first day of the dolphin drive-hunt season in Taiji.

In honor of the schoolgirl who just wanted to save some dolphins, I will be republishing my 2010 blog.

My essay, It’s Been a Long Time Coming, is live now. Link in my bio/linktree. 🐬

Today marks the closing chapter of revisiting my 2010 blog. In offering these memories back to the world, I have reclaimed something I thought I’d lost.

Thank you for caring about what happens in Taiji, Japan. Thank you for caring about that teenage girl with a soapbox. And most of all, thank you for caring about the woman taking her voice back now.

My final post, Ignited Again, is live now. 🐬 Link in Bio.

Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday and a safe New Year!

With love,
Elora

Hey, hi, hello! If you didn’t receive our yearly holiday card this year, no, you’re not off the list. What happened is I blinked, and suddenly it was December 31st. So, let’s recap the peaks of the year here instead. In 2025, I…

🪄 Adventured to Disneyland twice, opening and closing out the year!
🐝 Managed half a dozen hives over the summer, and caught two swarms.
🍯 Collected roughly 13 gallons of raw honey.
💻 Was stalked by a stranger on the internet, and retaliated by republishing the over 105 archived blogs they hated me for.
✍️ Took back my voice by writing and publishing over 90 subsequent essays. Don’t ever let anyone else paint your story for you.
🎙️ Co-produced 34 @starwarsmean2u podcast episodes with @superdaveawesum and interviewed 17 special guests!
✈️ Was surprised and whisked away to New York City by my two best friends to see David Hyde Pierce’s Broadway return!
😳 Met my childhood idol (David Hyde Pierce) and fell mute for the first time in my life.
🌊 Spent a LOT of time outside and on the water.
🚘 Helped move our family across the country, and closer to us.
🎉 Celebrated Paulo accepting a new Associate Doctor position. Watching his career take off has been the highlight of my year.
💃 Mine and Emma’s fandom was forever immortalized in the new Taylor Swift documentary series.
💜 Shared hundreds of laughs with friends and family.

👀…and finally. I accepted a new job myself! I will be kicking off 2026 with a new role and a new team with the shared mission of protecting wild lands in Washington State. I am truly so lucky to be returning to my nonprofit roots.🌲 🐻 💚

Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy 2026. Happy New Year, friends! by @cosmicantlers
