Coming off of 2024, I had just lost my brother and was still feeling the weight of his passing. I wanted the next year to be a year of growth and healing, and I tried my best. I had opportunities to travel and managed to check off three new countries this year (Spain, France and Mexico) and have plans for more adventures next year. I moved in with my boyfriend who became my fiancée (I’m somehow on cloud nine and in disbelief simultaneously about this one). I got help with my mental and physical health which has helped me grow leaps and bounds as a person. I’m working on creating boundaries and being the individual that I want to be, not who someone else wants me to be. I have a support network that means the world to me. I have the opportunity to see my nephew grow and be his own little human. I am so lucky in so many categories that I cannot believe this is the life I get to live. 2025 was wild.

My heart still carries some heavy thoughts and concerns into 2026, but I only hope that I can move forward optimistically and begin to plan the future that I want and deserve, surrounded by those who care and support me. Cheers to 2026. Let’s do this. 🧡
