WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT IRON IN PREGNANCY 🩸🤍

Comment “IRON” and I’ll send you a couple of my favourite iron-rich recipes to help you get more iron into your meals 💬

Iron supports oxygen transport, your baby’s development and the extra red blood cells your body produces during pregnancy. It’s something I’ve experienced deficiency in myself, so I wanted to share the science.

Beans, lentils and fortified cereals all provide iron. Pair plant sources with vitamin C-rich foods to help absorption: lentils with peppers, chickpeas with tomatoes or fortified cereal with berries 🍓

Tea and coffee can reduce iron absorption, so try to have them between meals rather than alongside iron-rich foods.

If you’ve been diagnosed with iron deficiency anaemia, dietary changes alone are usually insufficient to correct it. Iron supplements may be needed, with your maternity team guiding treatment and checking your response. 🫶

Pregnancy places significant demands on your body and getting the right support matters 🤍 remember taking your supplements every other day is more beneficial!

I’ve tried both & can confirm dressing like a “wh*re” is way better for gains 🤷‍♀️

Ik a bunch of “iT was A jOke” mfers are gunna come for me and to that I say… disrespectfully, shut the fuq up. It wasn’t funny. It didn’t have a punchline. He got up there and said a bunch of misogynistic bs that is soooo fkn overplayed. It’s some straight up boomer humor.

Women have been the butt of jokes for everrr- the lack of creativity in his set is almost more offensive than him saying women are dressing like wh*res. I truly believe there is a way to make fun of everyone and everything comedically, but it takes intelligence and nuance… which this entire set lacked. Like he actually thinks his audience is dumb enough to think his set was funny and that in itself is upsetting.

Also lowkey crazy he got up there and told everyone he’s a fkn creep lmao. Talked about creeping out a “beautiful woman” on a hike and then being upset he can’t stare at women in the gym… I wonder when he (and all the people that think like him) will learn that it’s not women that are they problem… it’s them 🙈

Anyway my fav clothing is from @civilregime co de liztess 😘
