Let’s Make this no Maida, No Onion-Garlic Navratri Special Sabudana paneer Jhol Momo in Nepali Style without any Tamjam . Ingredients For the momo 1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls) ½ cup grated carrot ½ cup crumbled fresh paneer Salt to taste (as per your vrat rules) 1 tsp ghee For the creamy jhol 2 medium tomatoes 2 tbsp peanuts 1 tbsp sesame seeds 1 green chilli ½ tsp grated ginger (optional) 1 tsp mustard oil Water as needed Salt to taste (as per your vrat rules) Method Soak the sabudana: Soak for a few hours until softened. Drain thoroughly and let the excess moisture evaporate. Prepare the filling: Mix grated carrot, crumbled paneer, salt and ghee. Make the jhol paste: Dry-roast peanuts and sesame seeds. Separately, heat mustard oil and cook tomatoes, green chilli and optional ginger until the tomatoes become very soft. Blend: Grind the roasted peanuts, sesame seeds and cooked tomatoes into a smooth paste. Cook the jhol: Transfer the paste to a pan, add water and salt as needed, and simmer until thick and creamy. Shape the momos: Mash the drained sabudana. With lightly oiled hands, flatten a portion, add the paneer-carrot filling and carefully seal into a ball. Wet your hands slightly if needed. Steam: Place the balls on greased or parchment-lined steamer plates and steam for about 20–25 minutes, checking that the sabudana is cooked through and the balls hold their shape. Serve: Place the steamed momos in a bowl and pour the hot creamy jhol over them. Enjoy immediately! Tips for best results Drain the sabudana really well so the mixture is easier to shape. Steam one test momo first; if it doesn’t hold together, the sabudana may need more draining or mashing. Vrat rules vary by household, so confirm that mustard oil, sesame seeds and your chosen seasonings are permitted. Save this recipe for your next Navratri fast! ❤️ #navratispecial #sabudanajholmomos #durgapujo #vratfood #homemade

The rise of antisemitism around the world is a deeply concerning trend, with Jewish communities facing increased harassment, discrimination, vandalism, threats, and deadly violence. According to a July 2026 report from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), more than 23,000 antisemitic incidents were recorded across seven countries with large Jewish populations in 2025, representing a 136% increase compared with 2022. The report also documented 20 deaths resulting from antisemitic attacks in those countries during 2025. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has contributed to heightened tensions, but criticism of the Israeli government or its military actions should not be confused with hatred of Jewish people. Antisemitism occurs when Jews are collectively blamed for Israel’s actions, targeted because of their identity, or subjected to conspiracy theories, Nazi symbolism, and threats. Regardless of political beliefs, antisemitism must be confronted consistently through education, accountability, and solidarity with Jewish communities, because no one should have to fear for their safety simply because of their religion, ancestry, or identity. #politics #feminism #usa #catholic #immigration

Bill Maher and President Trump are heading back to the dinner table, despite years of public feuding and some very personal attacks. The liberal HBO host reveals Trump unexpectedly reached out to arrange another dinner and was "really nice" in their text exchange, even joking about the criticism he directed at Maher after their first meeting. Maher says he's happy they're still talking and takes a swipe at liberals who would refuse a private conversation with the president over political disagreements. The two first met at the White House last year after Kid Rock brought them together, a meeting Maher later described as surprisingly cordial.
