Remember when I used to post nothing but food? Well in all that time and all those amazing restaurants, I never got free stuff.
I haven’t posted anything about food or anything really, in ages and we had more gifted food in the last week than my entire life.
Emirates= hospitality
This was afternoon tea at @conradetihadtowers which we had in the gorgeous lobby that was brighter than anywhere I’d been.
I could read the menu. Now back in the UK, I can’t see again.
I loved it.
Stand out was the little ham and onion tart. Yes, ham.
A guy in Dubai once said to me “You can get anything you want in the UAE…except pork”. Well he was wrong.
This afternoon tea was followed by a trip to the observation deck, 82 floors up. It was amazing.
What an afternoon.
I’m excited for when we come back.
