9 months agoI’m great at cutting my losses and compartmentalizing, it allows me to perform well in other areas of my life. However, this has deeply compromised the emotional safety of the people I love and likely compound existing abandonment trauma. It’s a horrible way to interact with someone you claim to love and all intended to avoid being vulnerable.
9 months agoIm learning how to communicate and I just realized that every time I argue with my bf I wanted to break up. Fortunately I’m in psychology and my therapist is helping me to understand and communicate better. Now I just don’t think we needs to break the relationship but have a conversation. After the conversation, we may feel guilty, tired or don’t know how to get back to him. Even in those months we choose each other again and find a way to get back together

10 months agoIt is not always possible to live for God and to live at peace with all men, But insofar as it is possible, we should strive to do so, We should never delight in conflict and controversy for its own sake but only engage in such when necessary and to defend the truth and live the truth, Christians should be characterized as people of peace who are willing to get along with others as long as that does not entail denying their God.
10 months agoIt’s hard at times to get him to have an honest conversation. But you are so completely correct 😌
