This is not a “come back” post or anything of the like; this is my simple obedience to the Lord and my invitation to you to spend one week in this last month of the year, investigating where you are in Christ!
We plan our fitness goals.
We plan our financial goals.
We plan our career goals.
We plan our vacation goals.
But when’s the last time you sat and planned your SPIRITUAL GROWTH goals?
If you know me, then you know the message of sanctification has been one that God had deeply pressed upon my heart for several years now.
“ Sanctified Initiative Devotional” was designed to help new comers take those initial steps toward surrender and discipleship that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

It was also designed to encourage the “ saints” that know the Lord to “examine themselves and see if they are still in the faith.”

👉🏾Not in protocol!
👉🏾Not in the gamements that make us look holy!
📍BUT STILL IN THE FAITH ( communion with God!)
I can’t speak for you, but as of late, I find myself asking questions and making statements like:
1️⃣. Father, where am I with you?
2️⃣. Are you please with me?
3️⃣. What have you told me to let go of, that I’m still holding onto?
4️⃣. What instructions have you given me that I have not obeyed yet?
5️⃣. Where have I grieved you?
6️⃣. I just want your will, even if surrendering mine breaks my heart!
Here me, this is not condemnation or a commission to some place of perfection, rather, this is an admonishment for you and I to continue to “ press toward the mark!”

I was listening to a sermon the other day and the guest speaker said something so profound: “ Those who let the Lord cut them, get to be used by him, and those that let the Lord prune them get to ask freely of him.” In layman’s terms, that exactly what sanctification is. It’s the process or the action of making and declaring something holy by cutting away the things that aren’t! Many of us are aiming to end 2025 STRONG……..but some times that “strong” looks like: surrender, weakness, quietness, repentance, Godly solitude, worship ect If you have been distracted If you have been in performance If you have been in lukewarmness If your attention to the secret place has been displaces You are into the perfect place to take inventory and get back on track👟♥️.
