Sticker designs I made of Arcus characters for the zine fest in November. These were one of the things that didn’t sell very well, but I still think they’re super cute🥰

You can love the life you’ve built and still long to express another part of yourself. After years of being the dependable professional, mother or person everyone turns to, it’s easy to keep postponing your own creative ambitions. That’s why walking for @lishenfashion at New York Fashion Week meant something to me. Dr. Li Shen is a tenured Associate Professor of International Business and Marketing who studied Fashion Design and 3D Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design. She brings her understanding of cultures into fashion, using design to encourage connection across borders. Her East Meets West and Asian Fusion collections weave cultural influences into embroidery, beading and symbolic details. Her mission: to make fashion a global cultural messenger for love, peace and respect for our shared humanity. As a Vietnamese American doctor and international runway model, I connect with that purpose. We both bring our education, heritage and professional experience into our creative work. Want to explore an interest you’ve kept postponing? Find one beginner class and ask about its next start date. Reserve an hour this week to make something—a sketch, a photograph or a page of writing. For those curious about modeling: • Consider runway or posing training. • Attend runway castings. • Explore opportunities on Kayvar or Casting Networks. • Check reputable agencies’ submission requirements. • Be patient as you build experience. What have you wanted to explore but kept postponing? Follow @hollywoodeyes for beauty through health and my journey from clinical practice to international runways.
