When life gives you lemons… I mean yarn 🧶 … make the Lemon Peel Stitch! 🍋

I’ve been loving this stitch lately – it’s got such a lovely texture, and so many of you messaged me after seeing it in my stories saying how pretty it looks🥰 So I thought, why not share a little tutorial here?

The best part? It’s super simple. All you do is alternate single crochet (SC) and double crochet (DC), chain one when you turn, and keep the rhythm going 💃 If you finish a row with a DC, start the next with an SC. After the first row, you’ll notice the magic – every other stitch looks smaller, so just remember: SC into the big stitches, DC into the small ones. Easy peasy! 💕

For this project, I’m using @dropsdesign Baby Merino and a 4mm hook, but honestly, you can play around with different yarns and hook sizes to make it look unique.
