On 23 March 2025, 23-year-old paramedic Rifaat Radwan went to rescue colleagues who had come under Israeli fire.

Rifaat and 14 other aid workers were killed. Their bodies and crushed emergency vehicles were later discovered in a mass grave.

But Rifaat’s phone was found beside him. Its recording preserved his final words and exposed the truth the Israeli army tried to hide.
