WE DID IT!! SO PROUD of (myself LOL) and my team at @afro_story_summit
Absolutely still in shock at what we managed to achieve in such a short space of time. An INCREDIBLE day.. with the most elite line up of panels and film screenings!! From @dreamworks excluding screening of Wednesdays with Gramps- to @bbc BBC Commissioners having a live “pitch” session! WHAT A DAY!!! 🤩
Seeing what wonderful creatives are in the black community bring joy to my heart 🤎
Cannot wait for Afro Story Summit 2026!!!
BIIIIG shoutout to my business partners Keith White @afroanimationsummit and Jide Johnson @aniboxx without the both of you.. there would be no Afro Story Summit!
Stay TUNED as we have big things coming in 2026! (More footage to come…)

Congrats, this was an amazing event. Yess, you all should be very proud of yourselves. We need to see more of this, we need to acknowledge the faces behind the amazing animations. Seriously can't wait for the next one, I'm there already 🙏🏽❤️🔥🔥❤️😊🐻

![She never asked him to explain. She only asked what he was going to do now, and he had no answer that was braver than the truth. Some endings are quiet because everyone already knows how the story goes. The loudest thing in the room is the person who finally stops lying.
I wrote a poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ and it’s out now It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way.
If you’d like to read it, comment “book” and I’ll send you the link
