Legally Blonde actress Selma Blair has been accused of assault after she allegedly attacked attendants on a flight from Los Angeles to New York. Two flight attendants were hurt and one was taken to hospital, the New York Port Authority said. Blair was arrested and taken to hospital. Her publicist told the BBC she had "experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct". According to the BBC's US media partner, CBS News, Blair is also accused of kicking a police officer in the ambulance and assaulting a nurse at the hospital. The actress has pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault, in relation to the alleged incidents in the ambulance and hospital.
