From the moment that I watched you as a youngin on a random episode of SmackDown as a rookie in 2002, I knew you were something special. Years later, I get back into watching wrestling in 2006 and I see you feuding with guys like Edge, Triple H, Randy Orton, and my favorite wrestler of all time Shawn Michaels. Hell, you even tapped out The Great Khali at Judgment Day in 2007. Another fond memory of you is receiving the video game SmackDown vs Raw 2006 as a Christmas present along with my first of two PSPs and you were on the cover with Batista. From that moment, you really became my guy, my hero. You became the face of my generation and a leader. As I would watch you throughout your career, you taught me resilience, to always keep fighting, to have courage, and to most importantly be yourself and it is ok to evolve. Words like Hustle, Loyalty and Respect are forever embedded in my soul along with Never Give Up because of you. Last night may have not went the way we all expected it to go, but your legacy has been forever immortalized. You smiled in your loss to Gunther knowing you've done everything you have over 20+ years because you're leaving the place better than you first saw it. I'm beyond proud of you if anything. Safe to say, you're on the same level as Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan of greatness! You're forever our champion. Forever MY champion. Thank you John Cena.👌🏾🐐🥺🫡
