as the year comes to a close, so does my time playing the sport that has seen me through every season and given me everything. i want to express my deep gratitude to soccer for the life it has created for me, the people it has placed into my life, and for shaping me into the person i am today. although my experience looked much different than i anticipated, between four surgeries, three coaches, and two schools, i have learned how to battle adversity and come out stronger because of it. to all the people who have been apart of my journey, and who have supported me along the way, you kept me going, and for that i cannot thank you enough. this chapter may have come to a close on the field, but i can promise you this sport will never get rid of me! big 14 (and 20) out! #boomersooner #rolldamnjays
