No matter how dark my skin is, it is still as white and purposeful as a screen for projections. Stamps and marks of beauty, different and painful. I realized now that I have a choice
to politely defy you.
Stride my own colours I was born with as I allowed to. Remove your question marks and stinging thorns from my own beauty and bloom with the flowers I’m very blessed to have. Watching hopefully the world spins into change. There will be no fight for what a beauty really is. There will only be light to shine on us all to acceptance. Then there will be more lights that ignites the other and so on. Pulls us by steps to a brighter days ahead.
