So I have been working on something this year….. and now I am happy to share!
Introducing “Usap Tayo: The Sex Talk* You Never Got”, a project funded by Oxfam Canada ( @oxfamcanada ) set to launch in early 2026.
If you’re Filipino, the topic of sex is likely not one in your household. Conversations about sexual health and consent probably do not come up either. But it is vital we start talking about it.
Although this project cannot solve the problem, I hope it is one small step to addressing the tabo(o) around these topics.
I hope that you or someone you know can benefit from this project in one or two of these upcoming events:
✅ Canada-wide online panel with Filipino leaders passionate and/or working in the field of sexual health (January 2026)
✅ Toronto in-person workshop on boundaries and consent (February 2026)
