이번 무대 의상의 가장 큰 영감은
제니가 오랜 시간 간직해온 한국과 한글에 대한 애정에서 비롯되었습니다.
〈Seoul City〉가 은은하게 울려 퍼지는 가운데
제니는 무대 위에 등장합니다.
서울은 배경이 아니라,
오늘의 제니를 형성한 출발점으로 조용히 소환됩니다.
어둠 속 무대 위에는
한글로 기록된 최초의 노래 가사집 『청구영언』의 구절이 새겨진
약 15미터 길이의 베일이 드리워집니다.
이 베일은 얼굴을 가리기 위한 것이 아니라,
자신의 기원과 정체성을 마주하는 순간을 의미합니다.
베일이 걷히며 드러나는 한글은
그녀의 이름을 처음 불러준 언어이자,
자신이 어디에서 왔는지를 가장 분명하게 보여주는 흔적입니다.

두 번째 무대에서 한글은 더 이상 단순한 언어가 아니라,
기억이자 그녀의 목소리를 만들어온
시간의 층으로 존재합니다.
“나는 이 문자로 나의 이름을 다시 쓰고 있다.”
“이 언어는 나를 가둔 적이 없고,
오히려 나를 더 멀리 데려갔다.”
한글은 그녀가 세계로 나아갈 수 있게 한
가장 개인적인 힘으로 존재합니다.

마지막 곡은
금박장이 약 200시간에 걸쳐
2,000여 개의 ‘제니’라는 이름을 새긴 자켓과 함께 시작됩니다.
이 옷은 장식이 아니라,
자신의 이름을 반복해 부르며
스스로를 증명해온 시간의 기록입니다.
과거의 모든 층을 지나 자신의 이름으로 돌아온 제니는,
타인의 시선이 아닌 자신의 언어로 자신을 정의하는
현대적인 여성상을 완성합니다.

뜻깊은 여정을 함께할 수 있어 행복했고,
오늘 우리는 이전보다 더 깊은 의미로
‘제니’라는 이름을 기억하게 될 것입니다.

PART 1. Hangeul

The costumes for this stage were inspired by
Jennie’s long-held affection for Korea
and the Korean language.

As 〈Seoul City〉 softly resonates,
Jennie appears on stage.
Seoul is recalled not as a backdrop,
but as the origin that shaped her.
On the darkened stage,
a long veil inscribed with verses from Cheonggu Yeongeon,
the earliest Hangul song lyrics, is revealed.
Rather than concealing,
it marks a moment of confronting origin and identity.
As the veil is lifted,
Hangul emerges—the language that first named her.

In the next stage, Hangul becomes memory,
layers of time through which her voice was formed.
Hangul is not a symbol or ornament,
but a deeply personal strength that carries her into the world.
The final song begins with a jacket engraved with over 2,000 iterations of the name “Jennie,” crafted over 200 hours.
It is not decoration, but a record of time and self-definition.
Having passed through every layer of the past,
Jennie returns to her name,
defining herself through her own language.
Sharing this meaningful journey was a privilege,
and today we remember the name “Jennie”
with deeper meaning than ever before.
