17-year-old Charlie spends the winter days searching for her family’s missing cat, who mysteriously vanished around the time of her father’s recent and untimely death. After discovering a clue to the cat’s whereabouts, Charlie embarks upon a mission to retrieve the animal. But as hidden details of her father’s life slowly start to unravel, the image of the man she thought she knew begins to shatter.
