Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are trending after their latest appearance on Koffee With Karan 9, where the newlyweds opened up about their relationship, marriage and the story behind their decision to tie the knot.

During the conversation, Karan Johar asked the couple how the marriage discussion began. Vijay revealed that Rashmika was the one who repeatedly brought up the idea of getting married. He recalled telling her, "Okay, you ask me a hundred times."

When Karan asked Rashmika whether she really kept asking him, she replied that she had asked him for an entire year.

The exchange quickly became a talking point on social media. While some viewers found their banter funny, others felt that sharing the story in this way could come across as embarrassing for Rashmika. The conversation has since sparked a wider discussion about how couples talk about commitment and marriage in public.

Vijay later explained that he is a sensitive person and shared more about how their relationship developed. He also revealed that he proposed to Rashmika during their sangeet ceremony, adding another detail to their love story.

The couple first worked together in Geetha Govindam and later reunited for Dear Comrade. After years of keeping their relationship largely private, they married in February 2026 and have recently been sharing more about their journey together.

Their appearance has given fans a glimpse into their dynamic, while also reminding everyone that the same relationship story can be interpreted very differently by different people.

Wear less or Wear nothing

Cristiano Ronaldo has been voted the most impressive Ballon d’Or winner of all time in a poll by @skysportsfootball, while Lionel Messi received just 39.5% of the votes despite winning a record eight awards. 🤍🐐

In 1989, the Super Ballon d’Or wasn’t awarded to the player with the most World Cups or Ballon d’Ors. Instead, it went to Alfredo Di Stéfano, recognised as the greatest European player of his era and for his dominance in European Cup (champions League) history.

If the same criteria are applied in 2029, Cristiano Ronaldo would be the clear-cut winner, given his dominance in the UEFA Champions League. 😳🐐
