The best day of 2025?
Hands down.
I was pretty quiet in the desert. I’m normally quite loud, but every corner we turned was so breathtaking it was overwhelming.
This is about as unfamiliar a terrain as you can get compared to the thick green, wet ground and life-filled countryside of Yorkshire, but I loved it.
The warmth of the sand is only beaten by the warmth of the people.
