Peter Krause tackles perhaps the best Countess Luann monologue ever... #RHUGT #WWHL

LUCY has no Wi-Fi or television at home, listens to oldies radio, and usually waits until sundown to hit the studio. Somewhere between bike rides, car radio freestyles, and visions of a cuckoo clock in a rainstorm, his outsider pop songs start to take shape.

On ‘CITIZEN’S ARREST,’ his self-described “folk art album,” Cooper B. Handy keeps finding something extraordinary in the everyday.

We caught up with the Western Massachusetts artist to talk about his new record, what he misses about his old day job, and why his music is more sincere than people might think.

The Bastard ❤️ (I jumped in to photobomb Ben while he was giggling to himself taking a picture in this hat. I was very glad to get to see it when his wife Natalie sent it along.) Rest well, friend.

I think social media has completely stopped being a place where we feel "free" and "authentic." If a video doesn't grab attention in its first 5 seconds, it isn't shown to almost 90% of our followers. There's this thing called the algorithm, and when you create content, you have to do what the algorithm wants, not what you or your followers want. I think we've all been affected by this to some degree.

For example, last night I composed a melody with intense emotions. Today I filmed myself playing it so I wouldn't forget it, and my cat Burhan came over and listened. I wanted to share it, then I thought, "There's nothing eye-catching in this video, the algorithm will show it to very few people." So I decided not to post it. But then I thought: if I want to share this, and I'm not going to because it doesn't fit what the algorithm wants, then why is this my page? I think we just shouldn't care about it at all 🙂

I've been very stressed lately, struggling with so many things at once. I don't want to complain. Amid all my troubles, I just wanted to share a video of a few minutes at the piano, together with my dear cat Burhan 🤍

not to flex but Mickey Mouse let me come hang out on his boat!!!

thanks to @DisneyCruiseLine for having me aboard a special sailing for the final reveal of the Disney Believe!

I was worried at first that I wouldn’t be able to solve the scavenger hunt leading to the reveal of the new ship and would have to surrender my Disney adult title, but with the help of you guys figuring out the clues on my stories we did it! (nobody tell the mouse I crowdsourced my answers okay? 🤫)

my most anticipated announcements: the Encanto and Tangled stage shows (nobody understands how excited I am for an Encanto stage adaptation, if there was EVER a Disney movie that needed to make the jump to the stage, it’s this one) Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast, Sea Notes (a Little Mermaid-inspired piano lounge), and the Moana-inspired Grand Hall. they really managed to get so many of my fave stories onto one ship!

thanks again for helping me solve the mystery, gang. we make a pretty good pirate crew 🫶🏼🏴‍☠️
