Here are 3 things to NEVER do in the first few seconds after your dog starts barking at another dog. ❌ Don’t yell β€œquiet” or β€œno” over the bark. To your dog it sounds like you’re barking too, so it adds noise instead of help. Stay quiet and create distance first. ❌ Don’t freeze and hold your ground. Standing still lets the bark build. Turn and walk away calmly while it’s still the first bark or two. ❌ Don’t reach for the treat bag once they’re already going. Have a treat in your hand before you need it, and feed the moment your dog even glances at you. Your dog isn’t being bad. Barking is the only tool they have when a dog shows up too fast or too close. Skip these three and you’re already helping. Save this for your next walk πŸ™Œ Comment β€œbark” and I’ll send you more information on my Barking Walk Survival Kit that I used with Charlie!
Well, when the universe gives you a birthday only once a year, you might as well make some noise about it! Had to jump on this audio because 58 isn’t going to wait around for me to finish celebrating 57! And what a year 57 has been β€” a little bit of everything, fabulous highs, a few plot twists, plenty of laughter, lessons and unforgettable memories. Wouldn’t change a thing! Now bringing on 58 with gratitude in my heart, mischief in my plans, dreams in my eyes and the same old unstoppable spirit. A little older, a lot more fabulous and certainly not done having fun. Come on 58, let’s make some headlines! #Rashmidalal #birthdaygirl #58 #fabulous50s #happybirthday
