Actress Selma Blair arrested for trying to open plane door midflight, p¥nching a flight attendant and b+ting another

American actress Selma Blair has been issued a summons on an aşşault charge following an alleged altercation with flight attendants aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to New York.

According to reports, two flight attendants were inj¥red during the incident, with one taken to hospital. Authorities responded when the flight arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

A federal law enforcement source told the BBC that Blair was issued a summons for an aşşault charge and will be required to appear in a petty violation court in Brooklyn, although no date has been set. The investigation reportedly involved the FBI.

Blair’s publicist said the actress experienced a medical emergency that allegedly led to the incident. She received medical attention after landing and was reported to be in stable condition.

Delta Air Lines said it had zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behaviour, stressing that the safety of passengers and crew remained its priority.

The incident has drawn attention to a similar episode in 2016, when Blair was removed from a flight on a stretcher after an outburst. She later apologised, explaining that she had accidentally mixed medication with alc%hol, causing her to black out and behave in ways she regretted.

Blair, 54, is known for her roles in Legally Blonde, Hellboy and Cruel Intentions. She largely stepped back from acting after revealing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018 and announced in 2021 that the disease was in remission.

TMI but thought I’d get real with y’all on what I ACTUALLY used for my postpartum recovery!! ❤️‍🩹 Everyone talks about what you need for your newborn, but what about YOU?!
Thank GOODNESS for @frida for making the not-so-glamorous parts of postpartum a whole lot more comfortable

Acting Minister for Manpower Jasmin Lau said the haze creates practical problems at home.

“A child may fall sick, a parent may need more care, or schools may move to home-based learning at short notice,” she explained.

Lau urged employers to consider requests for work-from-home or flexible work arrangements, where possible.

For jobs that can only be done on-site, Lau urged employers to allow employees to use their annual leave or childcare leave.
