Every family has a Christmas story so here’s a piece of ours, growing up Christmas dinners were suchhhh a big deal. My step father was an AMAZING chef, I still salivate over the memory of this tamarind jerk fish he made 🤤🤤. His Christmas dinners were something to talk abouttttt, he passed away but his memory lives on forever ❤️❤️❤️. After his passing Christmas just wasn’t the same anymore to be honest, so we started a new tradition of going to hotels for Christmas which we lovedddd. The dressing up, the endless food, the entertainmentttt. If you’ve never done it, I recommend trying it one year. For the past four years, everytime we sit for dinner I always tell mommy to enjoy it because this will be our last Christmas at a hotel as the next Christmas we will be hosting our own Christmas at our own boutique hotel, guys I kid you notttt I have the menu written down, the series of events to take place over the days, the entertainment contacts, everything is fully planned out, and as you all know, we are in year 4, and every year I keep thinking “we mussss finish this year! Must! Ain’t no way it’s gonna take a whole year to finish” LOOOL. Man plan, God laugh mixed with a strong case of delulu, but here we are, another Christmas, not the one I had in mind, not even the hotel happened this year because helloooo we need that money to finish this damn place! lol. So mommy is spending it overseas with my brother’s family and her grand children and I decided to create my own Christmas, romanticize it and make it my very own ❤️☺️. I’m all my 31 years this is the first Christmas I’ve not seen my mother but we are big kids now right!?!? Lool.
Next year will be greater ❤️
