I like them both but I prefer the watercolor version which I think is ”richer” in its expression.

Both paintings are beautiful 😍😍. For quick sketching, line & wash is convenient. This was a great lesson with impactful and clear instruction from Professor Lei Li 👏👏

I like both paintings. They have different feels. I like to learn ink and wash so I can draw in plein air quickly. Also like the atmospheric of the watercolor painting. Love Lei’s lessons. He understands his student needs and delivers really thorough lectures to help his students to understand the drawing and painting and be able to paint independently. If you can only take one online course, this is the course to take! Great lessons, great practice, meaningful critiques.

I learned so much today! Lei is a wonderful teacher, his critiques and explanations are easy to understand. Lei is also very generous with his time and knowledge.
