the year in reverse, starting with a collage i made at my family’s annual christmas cabin. here’s some highlights i want to remember from this year, too, tho most aren’t pictured (i’m getting good at being in the moment and bad at capturing it, oh well!):

- nyc trip, friday night dinners, board games, surviving apartment troubles, and scheming our future together with my love, eli
- friendship! facetimes, visits to the MCA, crafting, pie, bar night (feat. new friends), parker posey movies, learning to sail, and officiating rachel’s wedding!!
- weddings and new babies in the family, and amtrak trips to visit
- a chapbook, a grant, workshops, an associate editor gig and continual work in the background, plus readings and lovely chats with fellow writers
- made significant progress on writing/producing/recording an album 👀, went to concerts, took photos, read books (too many more hobbies, including collage, pictured)
- and hey, paid off one student loan wow

it’s actually insane what you can do in a year, and i hope you reflect on yours and find so much good right alongside the stressful moments (which i had, too, just didn’t list haha).

wishes for the new year: more of the same, especially so much friendship (love you guys truly), sharing another round of art in community, and staying presenttt while i continue to make myself busy.
