some advance praise for keeling 🤩

we’re almost halfway through the presale period! why is it important to buy the book before its publishing date? well, your purchases signal to my publisher that you’re interested—that i do, in fact, have some readers who want to read this dang thing! and in response, my publisher is able to offer me greater distribution on all those sites people buy books on. so, i’d be immensely grateful if you can buy a copy, or at least share this to your story so other people might. thank you thank you thanks! ♥️

heyyyy

so i wrote a poem :)

and i saw a fox

and i had coffee with rachel

and donuts with rachel

and watched the sun rise from the train

and tried on sunglasses with eli

and sang with evan

and sang some more with the lads and grace

and now have a jester gig (hmu for all your jester needs)

and was astonished the candles wouldn’t go out

and i love my mom and dad ❤️ by @sarahpeecher

i've got a new poem in this forthcoming anthology from @lemonjellypress! 🌿 it's called "Quest" and i'd say it has some loose Over the Garden Wall vibes, as much of this anthology does thanks to our common ending: "only the forest knows the true beast." DM me if you'd like a copy! by @sarahpeecher

keeping it fresh 🎐🍃 by @sarahpeecher

may and june were busy and freaking fabulous and stormy and full of art and poetry and friendship yeah

thank you rachel for coming to visit! thank you madeline for being such a fun collaborator to curate with. thanks eli for the cutie pic of me at the opening. thank you everyone goodnight. by @sarahpeecher

time got away from me, but happy belated 1 year bday to keeling. thanks spencer for the cool photos. by @sarahpeecher

should i go back and see if they still have those sunglasses at crossroads? by @sarahpeecher

new poem about being extra, messy, grateful—written for a poet friend. 🦌🦌

i’ve been writing directly—epistles! poem-letters!—to people in my life as inspiration strikes, and this is the first of those poems to be picked up. as much as this poem is for the person i was thinking of, it’s for you, too. this is for you!!

read it in full at that link in the bio. by @sarahpeecher

the year in reverse, starting with a collage i made at my family’s annual christmas cabin. here’s some highlights i want to remember from this year, too, tho most aren’t pictured (i’m getting good at being in the moment and bad at capturing it, oh well!):

- nyc trip, friday night dinners, board games, surviving apartment troubles, and scheming our future together with my love, eli
- friendship! facetimes, visits to the MCA, crafting, pie, bar night (feat. new friends), parker posey movies, learning to sail, and officiating rachel’s wedding!!
- weddings and new babies in the family, and amtrak trips to visit
- a chapbook, a grant, workshops, an associate editor gig and continual work in the background, plus readings and lovely chats with fellow writers
- made significant progress on writing/producing/recording an album 👀, went to concerts, took photos, read books (too many more hobbies, including collage, pictured)
- and hey, paid off one student loan wow

it’s actually insane what you can do in a year, and i hope you reflect on yours and find so much good right alongside the stressful moments (which i had, too, just didn’t list haha).

wishes for the new year: more of the same, especially so much friendship (love you guys truly), sharing another round of art in community, and staying presenttt while i continue to make myself busy. by @sarahpeecher

left the beef for the bourguignon at the store, but other than that, december was good! 🎄 by @sarahpeecher

i don’t have any pics of my witch costume from last night but i do have pics with the friends i visited who were there when i got the tarot cards i used to read for people in my witch costume last night 🤷‍♀️ by @sarahpeecher

what i’ve been up to ~~~ (sailing w @grace.gosz, stitching up a custom tie with fabric scraps for a whole saturday, ruckus cuddles of course, and reading poems and meeting poets, a damn good time!!) by @sarahpeecher
