Greatful and Blessed 🥰😍

Again, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all the love & attention this video got.

But I believe you’re not doing yourself any favors prompting your way through a process that’s entirely dependent on your own unique perspective and experience.

And I don’t think it will give you the outcome you are looking for.

Talk to me about it in the comments; open discussion is kinda one of the only methods we have acknowledging and determining the future of this technology, so let me hear your thoughts

One month since I quit Taekwon-Do.

I thought I’d be itching to train by now. Honestly, I’m still tired.

I stepped away because the environment had stopped feeling safe for me, mentally and physically. I was burnt out, and I needed space to work out what my relationship with Taekwon-Do and the Taekwon-Do community could look like again.

I’ve slept a lot. The stress and ostracism is still there, and I haven’t found the energy or desire to return to my own training yet. After nearly 30 years, that feels strange.

But alongside that, I’ve enjoyed having spare time again. Reading, being creative, exploring ideas and spending time with people without always being the person organising everything.

And I’ve realised how much my WMA community has my back. When you’re used to being the coach and supporting everyone else, receiving that support yourself means a great deal.

I’m still struggling with some of it. I’m also enjoying parts of life I hadn’t made enough room for.

There’s no return date to announce. For now, I’m grateful for that room—and for the people helping me feel more like myself.

A peek into the look and feel of Winnipeg Ember FC:

Our sundog is a representation of the tenacity and fighting spirit seen across Manitoba. Sundogs often come out on bitterly cold days, and Manitobans are right there with them.

Whether it’s a breathtaking sunset or sunrise over an expansive prairie field, our wide open skies or the strips of light that flank the sun, these colours feel like home.
